a maibock style, but brewed with nearly 30% rye.  the crystal hops we used from new mission organic’s provide a woody, stone fruit, and floral hop profile. 
malt profile is dominated by spicy rye, but also contains flavors and aromas of toast, toffee, and dried dark fruit.  named in honor of our mayor.

Chase Bro's Ebony & Ivory Stout

southern hemisphere edition. fermented with english ale yeast, which provides a fruity esther profile that compliments the smoky/woody character of the indonesian vanilla beans. the papua new guinea kunjin coffee adds a buttery, citrusy and toffee profile to this decadent complex ale.

we took our john ball brown ale and infused it with a medium roast red badger sumatra coffee, adding delicious notes of earthiness, chocolate, a bit of cherry, and of course unmistakable hints of freshly brewed coffee.

Downtown Dank

Simcoe and Citra Hops are the dominating force for this Imperial IPA giving off flavors and aromas of passion fruit, gooseberry, pineapple, and pine.

Chinnick’s Wit

a traditional belgian witbier but hopped like an american pale ale.  brewed and dry-hopped with cascade, citra, and palisade hops providing notes of tropical fruit,
grapefruit, and a nice grassiness.  named for chinnick’s billiards & bowling, a favorite haunt of world-class sports stars and visiting celebrities in the
olden days of grand rapids’ history.

Decadent Eagle

this is a very complex imperial stout!  aged in woodford reserve bourbon and vanilla barrels; infused with madagascar vanilla beans and blended with local montmorency sour cherry concentrate.  with hints of bourbon, vanilla, cherry pie, graham crackers, dark chocolate, and sour cherry this full-bodied stout leaves you with a dry, yet mouthwatering sour finish.
