A new take on the classic export lager that was first brewed by Grand Rapids Brewing Company in 1893.

Model 60 Smoked Amber

brewed with barrel stave-smoked malt by pilot malt house and fermented with english ale yeast. aromas of oak smoke, toffee, caramel, biscuit and dried fruit come through with flavors of toffee, caramel, biscuit and smoke. named for the austin model 60, a car produced in grand rapids in the early 1900's.

malt profile is dominated by spicy rye, but also contains flavors and aromas of toast, toffee, and dried dark fruit.  named in honor of our mayor.

Violet MacMillian's

Dedicated to the late broadway actress, this American pale wheat is infused with organic cranberry hibiscus tea giving off flavors and aromas of cranberries, currants, elderberries, and hibiscus flowers with a toasty wheat malt finish.

Brewer's Heritage

A German style of wheat beer, with a yeast that produces a unique phenolic flavors of banana and cloves with an often dry and tart edge, some spiciness, bubblegum or notes of apples. Little hop bitterness, and a moderate level of alcohol. The "Hefe" prefix means "with yeast", hence the beers unfiltered and cloudy appearance. Poured into a traditional Weizen glass, the Hefeweizen can be one sexy looking beer.

Brewed with Michigan Bartlett pear juice, centennial and hallertauer hops. Light-bodied, floral aromas with high carbonation, balanced by assertive bittering hops. Belgian yeast lends clove and bubblegum characteristics.

Chinnick’s Wit

a traditional belgian witbier but hopped like an american pale ale.  brewed and dry-hopped with cascade, citra, and palisade hops providing notes of tropical fruit,
grapefruit, and a nice grassiness.  named for chinnick’s billiards & bowling, a favorite haunt of world-class sports stars and visiting celebrities in the
olden days of grand rapids’ history.

Chapman's VanderBrown

A collaboration with Vander Mill, we aged our John Ball Brown in Chapman's oaked barrels to add hints of apple and oak. This als gives off flavors of caramel and a touch of chocolate with a dry, tart finish to this medium-bodied beer.
