Rye-Heart(Well) Bock

a maibock style, but brewed with nearly 30% rye.  the crystal hops we used from new mission organic’s provide a woody, stone fruit, and floral hop profile. 
malt profile is dominated by spicy rye, but also contains flavors and aromas of toast, toffee, and dried dark fruit.  named in honor of our mayor.

Violet MacMillan's

Dedicated to the late broadway actress, this American pale wheat is infused with organic cranberry hibiscus tea giving off flavors and aromas of cranberries, currants, elderberries, and hibiscus flowers with a toasty wheat malt finish.

The Forager

for all the hearty folk out hunting morels and digging ramps we made this crisp, hoppy, and satisfying american amber ale. well balanced with a clean finish.

Brewer's Heritage

A German style of wheat beer, with a yeast that produces a unique phenolic flavors of banana and cloves with an often dry and tart edge, some spiciness, bubblegum or notes of apples. Little hop bitterness, and a moderate level of alcohol. The "Hefe" prefix means "with yeast", hence the beers unfiltered and cloudy appearance. Poured into a traditional Weizen glass, the Hefeweizen can be one sexy looking beer.

Parklet Pear Pale

Brewed with Michigan Bartlett pear juice, centennial and hallertauer hops. Light-bodied, floral aromas with high carbonation, balanced by assertive bittering hops. Belgian yeast lends clove and bubblegum characteristics.

Chinnick’s Wit

a traditional belgian witbier but hopped like an american pale ale.  brewed and dry-hopped with cascade, citra, and palisade hops providing notes of tropical fruit,
grapefruit, and a nice grassiness.  named for chinnick’s billiards & bowling, a favorite haunt of world-class sports stars and visiting celebrities in the
olden days of grand rapids’ history.

Chapman's VanderBrown

A collaboration with Vander Mill, we aged our John Ball Brown in Chapman's oaked barrels to add hints of apple and oak. This als gives off flavors of caramel and a touch of chocolate with a dry, tart finish to this medium-bodied beer.

Wonderland Wheat

from michigan’s old motto, “water wonderland”, it’s brewed with various hops and a lot of wheat. it’s crisp and refreshing with hints of grapefruit, floral, pine, and tropical fruits from the hops. a slight sweet and grainy flavor is from the wheat and malt.

Refreshingly tropical blonde ale brewed with mango puree and citra hops for colorful, fruity flavors and aromas.

a campfire-like smokiness dominates the aroma with subtle notes of rye and chocolate with a lingering smokey finish from the lapsang souchong smoked tea.
medium bodied with a balancing hop bitterness on the back end. brewed in honor of our loyal mug clubbers.

Pannell's Flanders

grbc’s first sour ale, named after g.r.’s first brewer, john pannel, brewing beer as early as 1836. this complex ale has been in barrels since jan. 2014 and went through a secondary fermentation process with organic mango puree.
